The Flame of Wisdom: Moses ben Nahman (Ramban)
At the heart of this story stands our most illustrious figure: Ramban (1194–1270). Born and educated in Girona, he was an extraordinary leader—physician, philosopher, kabbalist, and one of the greatest commentators on the Torah and the Talmud. His wisdom crossed borders, and his legacy continues to illuminate communities around the world. From Girona, he defended his people and left us a treasure trove of knowledge that endures to this day.
